The Pie Den playfully and honestly tells the story of Dennis ‘Den’ Newman as he prepares for his first pie & mash sale at the Blue Market, celebrating its community significance and proving it’s never too late to chase a dream.

I met Den while working on a BBC TV show. After hearing about his dream to start his own business, I launched a GoFundMe campaign to fund the film. Thanks to the generous support of friends and the community, we successfully met our target. The film reached 100k + views on social media and was screened at Saatchi & Saatchi, where it won the audience choice award at The Shiny Awards Showcase.
